About the Author

While embarking on a technical writing career in the civil engineering industry, Andrew pursued his hobby, reading and writing about military history. His hobby has resulted in over twenty-five published books with two top military history publishers (The History Press, Stroud, and Pen and Sword, Barnsley) for over the past ten years. Some of the books are illustrated with his own photographs and he now uses a Nikon D90 to take pictures around the island.

Andrew has lived on Mallorca for eight years and he is based in the south-west. He put together the website after spending months researching and visiting places to get to know the island's unique 3,000 year history. Eventually, he decided to bring all his findings together onto a one-stop website dedicated to talking about the history and culture of the island, in the language of the tourist; English.

The website currently has around 80,000 hits a year and the supporting Facebook page has over 5,000 followers. Andrew also writes a weekly column for the island's only daily English language newspaper, the Majorca Daily Bulletin. His articles discuss places to visit away from the beaches, with a focus on their history and useful information on places to visit.

So contact Andrew to discuss your copy-writing needs and improve your website.
